Crabs. Why Crabs? Well for starters they are super cute, especially when you find them stranded on the beach and you take them lovingly back to the sea to find his friends. And they are featured in the Zodiac, not many animals can claim that they represent a whole bunch of peoples daily horoscopes…

This creation has been made with starry eyed purple fabric which I found on a market in Yorkshire. Even though he was made in Nottingham and has origins up north, I think he definitely has French roots, especially with a name like Jean-Claude.

Jean-Claude would look so fancy hanging up in your living room, pride of place above fire-place (though a fake one, don’t get this guy near an open flame… have you watched The Little Mermaid)

He is 8″ in diameter and you can hang him up straight away through the gap at the top or you can tie a bit of luxurious ribbon through it and hang him through that.
